Walkin’ The Lines

img_20161112_114318A walk down the tracks can provide a hobo with everything that a hobo needs. It can give us a sense of where we are. You can look at the rails and just imagine how far they go and what lies at the end of the line. There’s perspective in it.

I took this shot while walking the lines outside of Capreol, Ontario on a frosty November morning. It was cold and windy and the sun was barely up but I couldn’t help looking at the brighter side of things. I saw the rails as endless lines. It felt like I could have walked forever. I didn’t care where they would take me. All that I know was that I needed to find out.
